This phenomenon occurs due to the ignition of hydrogen sulfide at a temperature of 600 ° C, which is the reason for this color. The glow is weak, so the flame can be seen only at night. Part of the gas condenses and forms stalactites from pure sulfur, which is also extracted by local residents and offered to tourists as souvenirs.
